Just a couple of cards and Los

Hi everyone

I have been doodling about doing this and that, and here are some things that I thought I would post

1st is a couple of cards made with Spellbinders embossing foldersthe 1st uses a Magic stamp foam block. Magic stamp mouldable foam works so well with the embossing folders and the dies. Anyway here are the results

I used D-lites Fantastic flourish 1 and the mouldable foam and Scattered straw Distress ink I heated the mouldable foam then pressed it onto the cutting side of the die. Then inked the result up  in scattered straw. Stamped onto whie card. Then I embossed it with the M-Bossabilities Flora folder Then heavily inked with scattered straw to create the back ground. To create the ribbon I used the Magic stamp and the other side of the embossing folder. I can't wait to try mixing and matching dies and embossing folders.

This card I embossed gold glitter card with the Flora folder then inked with stazon. I love the two colour glitter.

Design House Digital has loads of new releases today and the above layout was created with one of them. Sarah Sullivans fantastic Fly Away with Me kit I love the kites and hot air balloons and the colour scheme is great for boys.
The second kit I have used is the Wonderful Fairy Dust kit by Kristin Damon
There are also a few more releases which I will be playing with in the near future

Bay Dreaming - Set Sail Digital Paper Set by Tia Hoffman  I love this kit can't wait to go on holiday will have to try and cadge a lift on a sailboat so I can all of use this. Don't think the rib we go dolphin spoting on will be quite right LOL

and some amazing glimmer  and glitter mist brushes called Glitzy splats and mists by Vanessa Fenton I know I'll be over using these I adore mists and glitters

So that's my blog post for today.

Sweet as Spring Design House Digital Blog hop Treasure Hunt

To celebrate the official coming of spring in the US and the UK, we bring you a sweet new blog hop, “Sweet as Spring!”  Start at Design House Digital blog, and visit a bunch of blogs belonging to Design House Digital artists – designers & creative team members.   At each blog, you will learn something new from one of our Design House Artists.
There will be a clue at each stop, and you will need to write them down and put the clues together to form a coupon code.  If you follow the whole hop in order, you will be able to get a mega kit for free: “Sweet as Spring – a blog hop treasure! “  what a stunning kit I think you'll agree and it can all be yours FREE (No purchases required)

Twelve designers contributed a total of 67 elements, 51 papers, and 4 alpha sets , and this gorgeous kit, and the treasure is worthy of the journey.  But, in addition, everyone who downloads the kit before Wednesday, March 27, will also be entered into a drawing for a $15 gift certificate to the Design House Digital shop!

We have a challenge for you, too: build something amazing of your own!  Using just the Sweet as Spring collaboration kit (and your own photos, of course), create your own project and put it into our Sweet  as Spring Challenge Gallery.  If you post your project before April 17, you will be entered into another drawing for a $15 gift certificate to the Design House Digital shop, but the challenge gallery will remain open afterwards, and we would love to see your layouts any time.

I love this kit its beautiful . The colours are subtle and warm but still fresh looking I loved playing with it and here is my Layout

There is also a little related give away from me too.

Very Busy week and very exciting news

Well its been absolutly manic this week.

I've done a Hybrid Tutorial for Design House Digital showing how you can change digital element into real Metal Elements for your Hybrid projects.

I only had 2 hours to actually make and photograph the project , so its not quite as stunning as I would have liked but I think its fairly impressive for something put together in 2 hours. Anyway here it is

If you would like to know how I made this you can see the tutorial on the Design House Digital blog in the Hybrid Tutorial From Digital to Metal post
